Doesn't the study say clinical trials on humans are scheduled for next year. Since it does not involve foreign chemicals/biological agents and is simply just using your own new genetic material, I believe it should be fairly straightforward.. Is it not???

I think the study says it could be approved for clinical trials in a year, but that doesn't necessarily mean they have the funding.
