Does extracting multi-hair grafts vs. single-hair grafts make it more obvious?
Does extraction of a multi-hair graft (2,3, or 4 hair), instead of a single-hair graft, cause the donor area to look more depleted? I'm wondering because i had only doubles and triples extracted during my 450 graft procedure, but they were all subsequently split into singles. My doctor did not take any singles at all and said its because multi-hair grafts have better longevity (not sure how true this is).
I'm wondering because multi-hair grafts are supposed to be "thicker", right? So that would mean removing them would cause more obvious gaps in the hair when shaved down (which I plan to do once the donor heals)?
Thanks
