How many hairs is normal to lose? I shed quite a lot of hair throughout the day. My hair seems thick overall and it's also quite dense however I lose around 100 hairs a day if not more. When showering I a hear a lot of people say they lose 5-10 hairs yet I lose around 20 and sometimes even up to 40. How much do other people on here shed a day?

As long as it grows back it doesn't matter. Anything up to 50 to 75 hairs can be typical. My wife and daughter shed like dog in spring time and they aren't bald! I only lose 10 or so a day but am balding!
