Widows peak hairstyles?

Why do widows peaks look so much worse, more recessed than other shaped mature hairlines? I have a widows peak and I hate it. It makes the recession much more pronounced and harder to hide!

Are there any good hairstyles for a Norwood 2/2.5 widows peak? I'm only 19 so mature hairlines aren't very common at my age.
