My Introduction, Fin, RU, and Min

Hey I've been looking at these posts forever but have never posted anything but I have a few questions

    I am 23

I have been losing my hair since 20, i was hit with a TE and was a nw2 for a while,

I am a diffuse thinner and I feel my hair losss is aggressive because I might a NW 2.5 or 3. I grew my hair out long and a lot of people like family and certain do not notice but others do notice

Currently I have been taking .5 of generic finasteride daily for 3 months and 1mg for 2 months, no sides, only thing I have really noticed was less scalp itch and oddly no dandruff, I used to have so much dandruff it was a snowstorm when i scratched my head now I have nothing

But I had a feeling, Since my hairloss is so aggressive that fin will not help halt my hairloss because I seem to have it more aggressive than others, I just ordered some RU58841 and will probably begin this soon because **** going bald. Its suppose to block DHT from hitting your follicles or something

    three questions

    1. Has anyone have had benefit from using RU alone after failed fin usage,

    2. Has anybody began minoxidil, experienced a shed, and has not grown the hair back from the shed?
I just have had such a bad feeling about minoxidil

3 has anybody have had a bad experiance using ketoconizole shampoos, i bought one and also have a feeling its gonna make my hair shed and not grow back, i just have such a bad feeling about topicals,

please get back to me guys, I would do anything to halt my hairloss,

I would not use less than 1mg finasteride, it might be too weak to see results, so stick with 1mg.

2 months on 1mg is NOWHERE NEAR enough time to tell whether it's working or not. Take it for at LEAST 6 months. Some people can take up to a year to see results.

Definitely add minixidil to your regiment, use it twice a day, it can only help, but there may be a shed.

Personally, I don't understand why people here reccomend ketoconizole. To be 100% truthful, I don't think it will help or hurt your hair, but you should use it if you have an itchy scalp/dandruff.

    Best of luck.
