Temple recession
Is temple recession a characteristic trait of MPB or is it an inherited trait that vary's from each individual? My grandfather and his brother have pretty deep temple recession but they've always kept a solid thick head of hair. I seriously have no clue how to differentiate from those who's hairline is naturally changing in comparison to those who are definitive balding?

It would be alot easier of you had pictures, but temple recession is a sign of MPB. However, if the crown is thick, it's likely not much to worry about if you don't see your hair falling out. Might want to look into minoxidil.
