Losing hair like never before

Hi all. Hope to get some advice or about my situation. A year and a half ago I started losing hair like never before. So far I can't say that it influenced the state of my head greatly, though I my hair have gown thinner and if I make a ponytail it's not that sick as it was. I tried shampoos, balms, oils and stuff. I'm 24 now. I've grown to think that it must be normal, though every time in the bath I'm scared to see how much of them are going to the sink. May be you know what it might be. Thank you
