UK sun exposure
Hello, I would like to ask for advice from any professionals or fellow users that have information on sun exposure post FUE.
I had a procedure of 1800 grafts FUE, 16 days ago. Up to this point I have been really careful and followed the post operation instructions well. It looks like I'm starting to shed and most of my scabs have gone.
Unfortunately today, I managed to get caught out at work without my cap. I must have experienced at least 15-20 minutes of direct sun exposure. I did my best to get into shade when I could. I feel worried that I may have done some damage, which could have a negative effect on my overall result.
Any advice or reassurance at this stage will be more than greatly received.
Many thanks,
James

I highly doubt you caused any damage to your grafts, especially if there was no pain/redness/etc in the area. Generally, for the first few months after a transplant the main concern with sun exposure is that your scalp will be very sensitive to sunburns. So if you don't have a sunburn you should be fine.

My opinions are my own.
