Hello everyone, mpb only runs on my father's mother side, my fathers father side has maximum nw2 and my mother's side has max nw2 too. since only mb on my parents are on my fathers x chromosome do I have the chance to have mpb too ? (he will only give his y chromosome to me so his x chromosome probably wont affect me)

I'm afraid it's basically impossible to tell, but if the maximum hair loss in your family is NW2, then it's highly unlikely. How does your hair look atm? If there's no hair loss or just a mature hairline then there's no reason to worry. -

my hair is feeling less dense and thinner than how it was, i just turned 18 it might be because i have seborheic dermatitis and vitamin d deficiency.Comment

No, that gene on X is merely the first one that was identified to be implicated in MPB. Since quite a few more have been found and they are on others chromosomes. Don't take into account anything you have heard about genetics, it's mostly inaccurate stuff and oversimplifications, you won't be able to predict anything at all one way or the other. You are 17, you have a head full of hair, don't think about that you have better stuff to do I am sure. CheersComment
