Where can I have my scalp tested

Where can I have my scalp tested for miniaturisation? I simply can't put my mind at rest until I've had the opinion of a professional on my hair loss. I'm finding strands that are different in thickness as well as my hairline receding although my overall hair is still thick. Some hairs are finer than other's and then some are more coarse. There's slight difference in colour too, the coarse hairs being darker than the finer one's.

A dermatologist or a HT surgeon will do the trick, he will barely look at your hair for 2 sec and tell you what you already know. But hey peace of mind has no price right?

I know I'm likely to get the same answer but I'd rather be safe than sorry. That way if I do have MPB, it will be identified at the earliest stage possible so I'm fully equipped and ready to combat the hair loss throughout life. Yes I may not have it but a hair transplant surgeon would likely give a more accurate and in depth analysis than posting a picture of my hair on a forum.
