    Dr. Steven Gabel - Portland/Seattle - 3166 Grafts - Transgender Hairline Feminization

This patient is a 37-year old transgender female who desired to feminize her frontal hairline. Prior to the transplant, she had deep frontotemporal angles and a higher hairline then she wanted.

3166 follicular unit grafts were obtained via the strip FUT method and transplanted into the frontal zone with the goal of lowering her hairline, filling in the frontotemporal angles, and feminizing her overall appearance.

The photographs depict her progress at 1 month, 2 months, 3 months (home photos), and at 7 months when she returned to the office. She is extremely excited with the results thus far and plans to return at the 12-month mark to further document the progress of the hair transplant.

Dr. Gabel did a wonderful job on my hairline. He saw exactly what I needed for a more feminine appearance, and executed it flawlessly. Something, I had a very difficult time seeing. At 5 months it was difficult to tell where my grafts were placed. It blends seamlessly. I had to share the photos with my hairdresser, she had no clue that I had gone through a hair restoration procedure. Probably the most important procedure I will get. The way he designed my hairline softened and framed my face better than I could have hoped for. Truly life changing for me.
