Does Minoxidil Increases The Life Span Of Haird Follicles?
Meaning, does using it and then stopping it somehow increase the lifespan of hair follicles?
In other words: does it keep your follicles alive while using it?
Or do you go back to the exact same situation you would have if you never applied it in the first place?
This is one of the first questions I thought about minoxidil, but I never found a scientific answer or even a someone with clear experiences.
I was thinking of starting it, but since I don't want to keep using it all my life, i was thinking of using it for a few years.
But just in case my hair will benefit from it long term, even after stopping, because it has somewhat kept my follicles alive.
Otherwise i won't use it, my hair is not bad enough right now to bother.
Thanks.

Think of it as life support for your hair if you have mpb. While you are using it, it artificially keeps the hair in the anagen phase. However, it does not address the fundamental issue of mpb (dht) so ur hair is still being attacked by dht. Once you stop you will lose all gains minox gives u.
