How should I wear my thinning/receding hair?

While your hairline is receding, the hair you do have is very thick and full, which really allows you the luxury of keeping it longer. The way you had it styled with the longer hair looked really good, and I think concealed your hair loss extremely well. You might as well keep this hairstyle while you can and hopefully you'll see some progress with the finasteride.

I'm right with you, that awkward stage. I think I can hide it for a little longer but prob. only fooling myself. Kind of sick worrying 'bout it.

IMO your hair looks much better with a little length. I'm a diffuse thinner as well, and my hair looks best when it's 1.5" or longer on top.
