Anti-inflammatory immune cells directly activate skin stem cells
https://cybrink.com/discovery-could-treat-baldness/
Apologies if this study has already been posted before. Seems to be most related to alopecia areata, but could also have implications for androgenic alopecia.
Many believe that androgenic alopecia has an autoimmune and inflammatory component to it, and to my knowledge the evidence seems to be pointing in this direction. Hopefully someone with more scientific knowledge than myself can gain some insights from the study.
