Finasteride / Hair Transplant advice

Hi im 28 years old and my hair loss has increased so rapidly the last couple of years that I've started to do something about it .

I went for a couple of consultations for a hair transplant and they advised me that I will need to take Finasteride for at least 2 months before they consider me , is this usual practice ? The consultation was in Harley St by the way

I have some reservations about using Finasteride as I've heard a side effect is that your sex drive lowers . can anyone confirm if this is the case for you ? And If you come off Finasteride does your sex drive return to normal ?
