Unhappy Starting To Bald, Trying Everything, First Post :(

    Hi everyone,

I first noticed my hair loss about 4 months ago, but I know it's probably been going on for a bit.
I have hair-loss on the crown and top of my head, with my hear line receding as well

I still haven't come to terms with it
It's hurt me emotionally a good deal

I'm trying to do whatever I can.. but there really doesn't seem to be much out there

I went on finasteride, then stopped due to side effects.. then started again a few weeks ago because I felt I had to do something.
I had PRP w/ acell done a month ago.. wasn't cheap. Can't say I have much faith in it either.. but trying whatever I can
I've tried Rogaine but it is SO hard to use. It gets in my hair and makes it look very unbecoming and very difficult to manage. And I'm scared as hell about the shed.. I honestly don't know if I can emotionally take a shed right now

    Any input please chime in

    I so much appreciate it!

    Thank you,
    Jason

Put the rogaine on at night and if time in the morning for a few hours before you shampoo, after 2 hours most of it is absorbed. Your hair will look like shit if you try to keep in in during the day. You need to give these treatments at least 6 months. The mistake a lot of people make is going on and off different things because they don't see results after a few weeks. PRP in my opinion is a scam.

Makes sense.. but I wouldn't have time to do 2 hrs before work.
Should I go on fin first and see if it works after six months, and then do the rogaine?
That is certainly logical since I don't want to deal with the side-effects without knowing if it is helping or if only the rogaine is
However, I feel like I'm on the clock and have to do anything and everything asap :/
What's your advice on this? And thank you SO MUCH

Then I would use it at night and get on Finesteride. Walmart sells the liquid it is the Equate brand and works well.

It's great to hear back from you Bolt24!!
It's really good that you are 34 years old now!
You do have the proper foresight that would not allow you to become worried and depressed over any of your hairloss!
Can you show photographs of your scalp ?
Of course you do not have to show your face...
    It's great talking with you!!!
    Cheers !!

It has taken me this long to respond because I have been trying to work-up the courage to post photographs of my scalp.
And I didn't get there =( It hurts to look at those pics.
Thanks so much for your input and even more, support.
I've been quite depressed over it :/
I suffer from clinical depression and anxiety.. this has been a tough go for me

    Thanks so much

Welcome to my world, bolt. Depression -of all sorts and types- and anxiety and also BDD...and then hair loss, oh and several hair transplants that haven't been that successful....
The depression, anxiety and stress this hell has caused me can never be measured. So I understand.

Oh, and I believe the guy who said PRP is a scam is right. Even if there's truth to it, I don't think the results are worth it.
