Finasteride shed after 7ish months or so? normal?

i have been on only fin and niz ( only about 1-2 times a week). for about 7 months, i feel my hair over this time has been incycles, its thinner. then thicker. etc etc.
i was taking 5mg. cut into 3s sometimes only 2s.
anyway at around 7 months now. i noticed my left temple which was the bad side is worse. The hair isnt thinner. but the amount of hair is. and the riight temple. which was the good side. is starting to follow suit. is this normal for fin? at around that time for the hair to kind of "reset" thin out and regrow a bit thicker. thats what happened originally. looking for someone who has similiar experience with fin

im 24 btw. idk my moms father so i cant go off that. but my dad uncle his dad his brother etc everyone on that line every body in my entire family has full hair. not thick and luxurious but straight full hairline no balding. anywhere, but i have no clue on my moms father ;(

Yes, that's what happened to me. My hair was doing great and coming back well and then 8 months later it started to shed and thin again. I thought fin's must have stopped working for me, I was ready to stop taking it, but I didn't stop and it did come back. I read this happened to other people too.
