An Interesting Fact on UK Patent Law

If a UK company says it has applied for a patent for a medical treatment, it is lying. You cannot apply for patents for medical treatments in the UK. This might also apply to the rest of the world, although as far as I know Propecia is patented (although finasteride is not).

Just thought I'd mention it, as it's a good way to spot a bullshitter.
