What are your thoughts on Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS)?

Hey guys, I think everyone has at one point or another seen threads about the side-effects of fin, and the "irreversible side-effects" after stopping fin.

There are websites like propecia help that have all these stories, but I have always thought that they are biased because only the minority that has had side-effects post there. But I have also seen people post about it over here and in other forums.

Recently I saw some posts talking about Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS), and I wanted to look into it. It seems there has been some research already done over the years, and there's even a site called the PFS Foundation, which is dedicated to researching PFS.

So I was wondering, what do you guys think about it? It seems weird to me that I haven't found any posts over here talking about it. The findings to me seem pretty scary, especially since they say that some of them manifest after having stopped taking fin, and they are pretty bad (irreversible hormonal changes, neurological changes, etc.).

I have been taking fin for 3.5 years (I'm 23 now), and although I haven't had any major sides, I'm worried about my long-term health.

I know nobody has replied yet, but I thought this might be interesting.

I found this (published Jan 2017):

The study reviews the existing medical literature on PFS and basically says that their studies are not well done and that there might be selection bias in a lot of them. So they're saying there might not be enough evidence to say PFS really exists.
