    Treatment or no treatment

    Hello, my name is Ross, I'm 33 y/o M.
I was looking for a HT surgeon and had an online consult with more than 10 doctors.
2 of them told me that I need 10000 grafts but they can only harvest 4000,
other 3 told that I don't have enough donor area, rest of them offered from 4000 to 5000 grafts. Now I'm confused and not sure if I have to schedule an appointment for a surgery. I really don't wanna go with BHT but if I don't have any other options...

    I've uploaded some photos.
    Thank you!

I don't think I've ever seen someone with a successful BHT transplant.

Man, this is tough. Your hair loss is very advanced and you're still quite young. And while you have conflicting opinions from several surgeons, none of their opinions seem particularly promising. I'm no surgeon, but I don't see how you would be able to do this without BHT, and even then this seems like it would be a huge challenge. This is one of those situations where it's crucial that we don't look away from the reality of the situation you're facing. The last thing you want is to find yourself spending thousands of dollars on multiple hair transplants, chasing some unattainable goal, and having scars and unsatisfactory results to show for it.

Here's the thing: it looks like 5 out of 10 doctors basically said no. That gives me pause. I would be interested in hearing from the surgeons who said they could do it, and their responses to knowing that 5 other surgeons said they couldn't. Why are their opinions different from the others? Why do they feel so confident? Do they know you're hesitant to do BHT? There's a disconnect here and I'm wondering what that is...

Whatever you do, please keep in mind that you may need to consider not pursuing a hair transplant at all. I'm not saying it's not possible by any means, but I do think it's worth considering buzzing your head and calling it a day. I know this isn't the most optimistic answer, and I truly hope that you're able to find a way to get the results you want - but even more than that, I want to make sure that you avoid even more heartache by pursuing something that just may not be in the cards for you... I've seen many guys with regrets on these forums, and I don't want you to be one of them.
