To let you know, I have been on Finasteride for about 5 years.
I have never had bad side-effects from its use.
My scalp has been improved to a minor percentage based on its use.
My hairloss had been stopped due to Finasteride since its usage.
Again, you might not need to use it at this time based on how your hairline is looking.
Because you are only 18 years old, you might ONLY have a maturing hairline.
Of course, later on you might start experiencing hairloss but nobody can really now at this point in time.
My Father had serious hairloss.....my oldest bother (62 years old) has also had serious hairloss too just like me BUT our other brother (second oldest) never had any hairloss to this day (he is now 60 years old)!
Check out Biotin and then let me know what you found out about it bro!
(but the way, nizoral 2% shampoo, is a decent thing to use too)
Thanks for ignoring my question oh great artista

I apologize John'!
But the facts are that everybody can look it up.
Of course you should do it to John'!!
That's why I've always suggested that to some people that I had mentioned Biotin to,
would need to review it's facts first before possibly buying it !
John check it out.... i'm at the store right now! I'll be back home in about 20 minutes!
Cheers!

I did read up about it. However there are varying recommendations for dosages. What dosage do your recommend?

I think it would really depend on how somebody's
Hairline is doing.

Biotin at 1000 MCP once a day .

What kind of results have you seen with biotin?

Sorry but Im not too sure as to what my hair results have been JohnMPB.
Finasteride has been doing so well for my hairline since 2013!
I started using Biotin some time ago but I never focused on it.
(I cant wait to meet back up with Dr. Wesley in May 2017 to get that verified Medical update on that 3rd Pilofocus hair regeneration Phase Test!)
Cheers John'!!

newer shots do look better- slight texture change for an 18 year old - I would keep a close eye on things.......

You'd be wise to ignore Artistas Advise. Biotin won't do anything for you. You are young and already receding/thinning on the hairline, so you are likely someone who is destined to be fully bald in 5-10 years.
Unfortunately propecia is your only hope at this point and time. I wish there were better treatments out there but this is all we got.
I wouldn't even bother treating your hair if you are not willing to try propecia. You could get super lucky and be a great minoxidil responder but outside of that the odds are stacked against you.

I'm not saying take propecia right now, but closely monitor your situation, do some more research, and if it gets worse and you are looking to stop it, strongly consider it.
