Default Fin has sped my hairloss up (PICS) should I try DUT?

    Hey guys.
I've done a lot of research on this and I'm not getting the answers I'm looking for. I'm only interested in the opinions of people who have been in a similar situation.
NO "Fin doesn't speed up hairloss" comments.. you're wrong. It can. I have pictures, and I know my hairloss well. There's hundreds of other guys echoing the same thing so it's definitely an issue.

My story: I first noticed my hairloss at the age of 16 in 2012. I was in denial for a while, thinking "that's simply too young to lose my hair".. once I realised things were definitely going downhill (although very slowly) I jumped on Rogaine, which helped stabalise my hairs shedding. This was in 2015. My hairloss continued to advance at a slow pace.. all very consistent. Until I got on Finasteride about 6-7 months ago. About 3-4 months in I began shedding crazy amounts of hair (pic included of what happens when I run my fingers through my hair.. at any time). I initially was very welcoming to this as I'd read it's a good thing... that's until the shedding never stopped (it'll subdue for a week or so then come back) and the hair never came back.. orf it did, its a lot weaker and smaller than before.
My left temple (pictured) held its position for 3 or so years. Didn't really budge. Now after 7 months on Fin its practically bald....

Anyway, should I continue to stick it out? Is it still possibly going to grow back? Or should I move over to Dut? Again please, only reply if you've been in a similar situation. I've done enough research, I need first hand experience.

The pic with my hand pulling my hair right back in the bright flash light is pre-propecia. Didnt even need to pull the hair back to show the post-propecia damage. And they say it can't make hairloss worse.. hah.

Thanks guys I appreciate any help.

    Yes you should try dut.

I've posted previously on the forums about genotypes and fin/dut, I even contacted the authors of the study. Essentially there are a couple genotypes that fare very poorly on fin (ie for what ever reason it does not sufficiently inhibit the 5ar2 enzyme), whereas in dut it inhibits very well across the board for all. I had bloodtests done when I was on fin and found out it was not having the desired effect on my DHT, so I switched and then saw resutls with dut.

Same crap happened to me, I'm am still on fin hoping it will stabilise.

I got on it due to a bald patch on the top of my head that I got during a accident.

Fin then killed my hairline literally. When I started taking it I got crazy itchy burning sensations,

I'm sure the people who are saying it doesn't effect the hairline negatively probably were nw3-4s when they got in it.
Not sure if dut will unfortunately make things even worse due to how we react on fin

Finasteride also affected my hairline badly, lost about 1"-1½" in the first year, hair never came back.
Hairline still receding but at a slow pace.

No one knows if your hair will grown back, we all are different but expect the worst.
I did have a few shedding phases, one came after 9 months.

I can not advise you what to do...
