Default 19 year old having hairloss.

    Hii,
I am 19 year old male and I'm having hairloss. I was diagnosed by a dermatologist and the meds did work. But the hair thinning has started again with discontinuation. So I am planning to go to that dermatologist again. But since I am out of station now so i am planning to visit him 2 months later. Is it ok or should i visit the nearest dermatologist? Can there be prominent hairloss in 2 months?

P.S. My prescription included "Alpecin Caffein shampoo" , a serum i dont remember and calcium tablets.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, 2 months can cost u prominent hair
loss in frontal region. Only finasteride and dutasteride works in genetic balding.
    Good luck

Isn't there anything else I can do to control it for two months? I don't want to go to any other dermatologist.

    HELLO Gyan!
Welcome to this great forum, the BTT! (Ive been here since 2010)

There is a percentage of members here that truly do try to help others.
I TRULY do try to help others, especially the very young!
Gyan, because you are only 19 years old now, please do NOT allow yourself to become worried and depressed about your hair, or anything else in your life.
STRESS and DEPRESSION will cause issues to your hairline and other things!!
As 'Robincurtz' had said,to you recently, Finasteride and dutasteride does help to a percentage.
I also want to let you know that the over-the-counter med 'Biotin can also possibly give your scalp some improvements. Biotin has had a LONG history of doing well for men and women alike.

    Gyan,
could you PLEASE show photos of your hairline/scalp so that we can know more?

OF COURSE, you do NOT have to show your FACE HERE on BTT...
just how your hair is looking right now.
You probably never knew me of course.
I go on here to TRY to HELP especially the very YOUNG.
Gyan, you might ONLY HAVE a maturing hairline and NOT hairloss but of course no one here can know as yet.
Have a great weekend my new friend!!!

Possibly BUT, you should post it here so that a few members that TRULY do LIKE helping others, as I do, could also see your scalp/hairline...OK?
