It hit me, so I did something about it. A few questions

Hi everyone. New to this forum. Hope everyone had a nice weekend. One of the good things that has come out of being in bed last 4 days with the flu is that I finally thought seriously about the fact that my hair has been thinning for the last several years (I'm 38, turning 39 this year). So today I 1st ordered some "Finally Hair" hair building fibers. I chose the "dark chocolate brown", as it seemed closest to my hair color. But then I thought that I should start some treatment. After doing some research I bought a used "iGrow" laser helmet, and a 12 month supply of Minoxidil. Does this seem reasonable?
Also, could someone tell me where I fall in the Norwood baldness scale?

Norwood 3 diffusing in norwood 6 pattern (and not that far away). Definitely get on finasteride 1mg as well, and that would make a good regime. Nizoral shampoo twice a week too will help.

Get a prescription and buy a generic brand from the chemist. The best way is to get the prescription and get generic proscar 5mg and then cut it into quarters. This should be less than $200 a year.

The helmut is a waste of money

May as well use it now that he has it. There are studies saying it is worthwhile, even if no one on forums seems to have had a good experience with it as a standalone treatment. However the propecia is much more important.
