Your existence on this planet as a 'man' rests on two things:
    1) Your hair, which you can't control.
    2) Banging teens, which is a phase/fad fueled by your probable addiction to porn or spending too much time lurking on the PUA forums.

In other words, you're a loser. Remember little boy, reality stings. But it's passable in this society because boys in their early 20s aren't mature and you're in the shit phase of living to work a shit job, to buy shit things, and impress shit people. And I bet your entire shit circle of friends is like-minded so you don't know what you don't know.

Congrats Mr. $70k a year in the corporate rat race. 22 years old at the peak of energy and life but reduced down to a porn addicted, rabbit minded corporate slave whose goal in life is to bang teens and have hair. The future of men. Wow...I wish we had more Alphas like you to continue to uphold the human race.

I'll entertain your replies because it's clear you don't have outside influence in your life and are in desperate need of perspective. You're not in a long term relationship because you don't want one. You wanna bang teens and you think one day you'll meet that special someone that'll sweep you off your feet. The stars will align. You'll fall in love. She'll be a 9/10 working a perfect job and you both will live the perfect high-income earning life with a beautiful home, perfect marriage, etc etc etc.

Like I said before... divorce rate is at least 50% because the world is filled with shmucks like yourself. Luckily for you though, you're still young.

As for me being a balding freak who will end up with a low-income women - here's a better perspective: how about being self-employed, making your own time and schedule, owning a business, being able to travel more, have an impact on the world where it's needed, being a man of value, and chasing goals and values, etc.

You are right about one thing - my wife will be low-income, because it's likely that she won't be working (or just part time after kids). Last thing I'd want is a marriage with two people working 12+ hours a day at a corporate shit job asking permission to take time off. I'm the breadwinner kiddo. I started with zero, got a better corporate job than you but the difference is I quit, went on my own and never looked back.

And I'll end by agreeing with you; losing hair sucks. It's a nightmare at first, especially when you're young. I get it. Hair transplants are an option but not a great solution. Using propecia on & off to try mitigating the hairloss is worth a try. But when the moment comes that you go limp and lose your libido...nothing else matters. It's NOT worth it at that point.
How are transplants not a great solution if you have the money for them?

Every.single.guy.I.know.has.had.side.effects. You wanna know the truth? Most guys won't admit their sides. They'd rather keep their hair and pretend their penis works.

In any case - I had blood tests done throughout the year. It always came back normal. My doctor didn't believe me when I said my erections were gone and my sperm was watery. He said all my tests were great, normal testosterone, etc. He said I should stay on propecia because he knows I'll lose my hair.

I was with a girl during that time and it was just weird. I wouldn't get rock hard. It felt so strange because not only would I not have my usual bull hard on, but I didn't even have a desire for it. It's like there was no mutual chemistry and let me tell you that it is a STRANGE feeling. You can still be attracted to the girl, but you can't do anything. It's not the end of the world, but it's just really strange.

So.. almost miraculously, my hard-ons returned. My sperm is back to normal. I began wanking even when I didn't feel like it just because I could. I went through a major shed the past few months and it SUCKS since I've been off it. And if you read my earlier posts for the past few years, I go through a major yearly shed. But I wouldn't trade my erections for hair. If you think differently, then you just haven't experienced the sides yet. Trust me.

I haven't taken propecia in well over 6 months but I still have a full bottle. I'm tempted to take it once a week just to see if it improves my hair. But I will never again take it daily. I feel like it was a dynamite to my libido and it's just not worth it.

My hair has been my best feature my entire life. Trust me when I say this - losing hair hurts, especially as I age. But luckily, I know there much more to life than maintaining my hair. I have bigger goals, interests, financial freedom pursuits that I'm working on, and my time on this planet is limited.

For those who are overly concerned, here's a reminder: you're going to die one day. It may not be comfortably in bed in your 80s. It can be today or tomorrow. And if you've convinced yourself that losing hair is the end of the world - then you've been a blind man walking around aimlessly your entire life and you've been surrounded by the wrong people.

    Cheers
Very insightful! How long did it take you to recover from your erecticle dysfunction after you stopped taking propecia?

I would say about 2-3 months to recover. And it happens suddenly, feels like you receive a 2nd lease on life.

I have worse sides than you, and every year they get worse still. And my hair has continued to thin anyway. But you know what? I keep taking DHT inhibitors because I don't give a damn and never did once I started to lose my hair. I consider it a matter of honor. "I do not fight evil because I will win. I fight it because it is evil."

That's fantastic! How long after taking propecia did you notice the erectile dysfunction side effects and how long after noticing them did you stop taking propecia? The side effects you mentioned are similar to mine. Please check my thread if you get time. Your insight would be much appreciated. I was on generic propecia for 0.5mg/day and after a few months I noticed the side effects. A few months later i.e. 6 months after I started taking it, I still had the side effects so reduced the dose to 0.25mg/day for just one week and stopped it completely. And 3 months after quitting, there has not been any real improvement as far as I am aware.

What are you talking about, man? A head of hairs with no di*k is like an empty nest of birds.

I am still on the fence regarding the use of finasteride but every time I read stories like yours, I am delaying my decision taking.

Have you ever went back to normal with the sides I took for 5 days and I experienced them . I quit and things went back to normal but then randomly couldn't get a full hard erection. I think alot of its mental from reading horror stories . Its freaking me out. I'm aware that I'm a little neurotic and have anxiety problems I feel like this is contributing to the problem but I'm freaked out
