Hair thinning rapidly following bad breakup

I went through a bad breakup almost two months ago and over the past month my hair has been thinning rapidly everywhere on top. I'm not sure if this is due to stress or MPB. The top of my head has also been itching a lot. Any ideas? I'm 26 years old by the way.
