Minoxidil and Wrinkles? Doctors input, please.

I have read on various forums and online sources about minoxidil and skin wrinkling? Also, dark circles under the eyes?

So I decided to check my head for these "wrinkles". Yup. I have only used minoxidil 2%(a LOT of it) for 13 days or so. I can definitely see the skin close to/where I apply it, looks much more wrinkly than the other skin. It is somewhat a dry fine line looking effect.

I have no idea what to do. If this is what happens after 2 weeks I don't know if I should continue using it. I will definitely make sure to just rinse my face after applying this stuff and also avoid getting it near my eyes and forhead. I will try to just have it on my hair.

I am going to decrease my dosage and not have this on my skin all day long. Probably a good idea to give my skin chance to recover.

    So,

    Less dosage
    Not on at all times
Avoid eyes and face, forehead mostly.
Wash my face after applying it
Don't sleep with the stuff on since it might end up on my pillow and then on my face(I saw another user suggesting this)

But does anyone else know what I can do to avoid these side effects? Does anyone have experience here? This side effect definitely does exist. The skin everywhere where I apply this stuff looks much older now. In only 2 weeks...

personally I don't give a damn if it ages the skin on top of my head...but on my face it looks bad. It is not noticeable now. But I am sure that after a few months It will look terrible

Another important question I have is: Can minoxidil somehow effect my eyes and other facial skin if I only apply it on top of my head and not have it land on my face?

Please any input from anyone greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
Working...
