Despite my frequent warnings about the crown being a black hole that sucks up every available hair....you can get outstanding results in the crown in select individuals...in particularly, those with curly bushy hair, minimal color constrast, and willingness to have the hair 3/4 of an inch long so as to layer (not combover....LAYER).

Here's this fellow before, with thin miniturized hair all over his crown, and at a year, and now. And a closeup of his trichophytic scar shows MOST of the scar has hair growing right through it.
