He should enlist the advice of a real expert in FUE. Dr. Lupanzula is going to be in London on January 28th so you should encourage him to take advantage of this opportunity. Dr. L will give him the truth about his situation and what is and is not reasonable for his case.
Thank you for replying joe, your response was the one I was waiting for. I agree fully with your thoughts and relayed similar concerns to my boss, but I fear he has been sold the dream.

The procedure is due for the 15th of Feb. He won't have even been on propecia and minox for more than a month by then, which I find totally unethical for his surgeon to think is okay.

Secondly, my boss is set to attend a holiday to Mexico not long after the procedure, and the surgeon failed to mention that he shouldn't expose his transplant to direct sunlight and told him it would be fine.

I really do fear this will end horribly, but my boss is just convinced it will all be okay and will work out. I don't think he appreciates how serious a procedure he is about to undergo.

I myself and still not at a hair transplant required level yet, but when I reach that level, you can bet I'd research the hell out of it, not just rush in. I think he's going with the ignorance is bliss approach.

I just hope by some miracle this doesn't end up the disaster I'm convinced it will be.

Thanks for the responses guys. Very helpful.
