Looking for a straightening treatment that shouldn't cause hair loss

Hi guys, I'm 6 months post-op (hair transplant), I still have a few more months to go before the final result, and the real challenge is about to start, now that I have won my battle against my receding hairline I want to end my eternal struggle against my fry, frizzy, nappy hair and achieve the look I've always desired.

But I'm very afraid of losing(actually losing, not breakage) my precious hair. I've read reports about the fantastic results people get from Brazilian blowouts, but some also mention hairloss as a side effect. I know for a fact that I will straighten my hair, what's my best option? cheers
