    Is my hairline getting worse?

I've attached pictures to this post, this is the best quality I could get I'm afraid.

So I'm 23 and have been on Finasteride for about almost a year I think now and I'm buying the 5mg and taking a quarter of that a day.

I think the strangest part about my receding hairline is that the right side of my head is far worse than the left. (has anyone ever come across this before? how abnormal is this?)

Recently I ran out and had financial troubles and couldn't afford to buy it for a few days so I was off it for about a week and but am now back on it and have no idea if this is a reason for my thinner hairline or if I'm just going through some shedding cycle or something.

I had a blood test a year and a half ago and they told me my vitamin D is quite low so I've been taking Vitamin D ever since then but I do miss a lot of days. I did some research today and read that things such as fish oil, zinc, B complex, vitamin C etc. are helpful so I'm going to chemist warehouse today to purchase these as I'm starting to freak out.

My girlfriend has no idea about my receding hairline/male pattern baldness and I hide it pretty decently by letting my fringe fall down to the right side of my head (the extra bad side) but as of recently it seems my left side is thinning rapidly all of a sudden. As I said earlier I'm not sure what the cause of this but I pray its some sort of shedding cycle.

I cannot afford Minoxidil as I'm a student living alone. I asked my doctor about alternatives and he gave me prescriptions for chinese herbal medicine oriental botanicals hairpro hairtonic and Evolis tonic spray. I haven't purchased any of these yet but am tempted to. I'd just need to find a way to afford it.

My father and grandfathers for the most part have always had a full head of hair. My dad told me his hairline started to recede at 19 and hasn't gotten that much worse ever since. The crown/top part seems fine as well as my crown.

If you have any questions for something I might have missed please ask away.
I'd GREATLY appreciate any help and/or advice.

I'll also add that my diet is probably not the best. Generally eat spaghetti bolognese, pizza, crumbed fish, wedges/chips cooked in the oven, tacos, etc. Does your diet have a big impact on hair growth?

Doesn't look too bad to me, just keep taking fin. Check out my recent post about finasteride.

And as far as diet, I noticed when i ate healthier with more fruits and vegetables, my hair felt thicker and stronger.
