PRP + Acell journey

I live in New England
I am 36 year-old male.
I started losing my hair when I was 21 years old. I have used propicia and rogaine and I have participated in hair club for men($3,000.00 wasted). I could not do the regiment and it was not because of the side effect.
I have gone to some hair transplant clinic appointment here in MA to see what was my options in treatment!! I have heard bad and good things about hair transplant and that you had to do at least 2(for the front) and 1 (for the crown). Dr. Leonard was the most expensive one, he wanted to charge me $11,000.00 to used the robotic machine. Dr. Stefani was the cheapest one, he wanted to charge me around $8,000 for FUE(if i did not pick the day and I would have gone to the open slot). My biggest problem was that it was an ongoing hair losing process. I would have to use rogaine or propecia or the Laser Hat! As you can see, it is a regiment that it was my problem to begin with!!
Doing my research online, I came across DR. Prasad.He was talking about PRP(Another regiment) and Acell(pig cell). It was interesting!! It has been around for 6 years and it seems to be working. I said:"why not and It is only 3hrs 45mins drive!" I was not surprise about the $200.00 fee, because I grew up in New York City and I had alot of problem with acne. I have had to pay visit fee to private Dermatologists clinics and I know all about visit fees!!

So here it is!!
He told me that it would cost me $5,000.0(-$200.00 fee) and I would have to go back for a 2nd boost, which it was included in the price. So, after a month thinking about, and I found weird that they had not call me back to see if I want to do the treatment, I called them and I set up the session or treatment.

Please "Stop"!! Do not judge me! I am here to tell you what will or will not happen in My treatment. I did it today 01/09/17. I will be your lab mouse!! I know it is $5,000.00! I don't need to share my experience, but I am doing for you out there, who is looking for different types of treatment for hairlost!
This is my own experience PRP+ Acell and no one else's!!! Thank you! This is day "1"! I will post an update in 3 months.

thanks for posting this, ill be looking forward to your improvement for Im also interested in the procedure offered by this doctor, but his claims are so positive that ive been doubting about pulling the trigger on it, but youll help me clarify my doubts

Thank you for documenting this for us. I've been very curious about the experience and results with Dr. Prasad, as I have seen a lot of his stuff on youtube. In some ways it sounds like it's "too good to be true" in terms of the pricing and results one can expect, so it will be interesting to see.

I had a small FUE procedure recently, and if Dr. Prasad's treatment works as well as portrayed in his videos, it could be a more cost-friendly alternative to another HT procedure in the future.

I do have a question though: You stated $5,000 was quoted for a combination of PRP/Acell. His videos seem to imply (not explicitly state) that there is something more used in terms of ingredients/application in order to produce the results. Did he say what is done in addition to PRP/Acell (if anything)? Because the price seems a lot steeper by comparison to other clinics that offer to treat with only PRP/Acell.

well!! When I was a teenager, I was called pimple face!!! I tried to use all type of cream to clear my face! I even subscribe to those information cream that made promise to clear my face!! Not knowing that I could have solved my problem forever, by just going to a dermatologist and wasting $1,500! My acne problem was solved by the age of 19! Gone for good!!
Dr. Prasad has more than 20 years of experience!! Did he find the cure for baldness? I doubt it!! $5,000(18 months later I have to go back and it is included) is reasonable. A average PRP+Acell session goes for $1,800 to $2,500! He was honest with me. I might get great result for the crown and the frontal(as usual) would be challenging!! Will I get 100% percent back my hair? No! It needs the roots to grow back, and that I don't have any more. I am 36 years old and a lot of my follicles are gone! I don't know if I would recommend him for hair transplant, but for this treatment, yes. I went to a few hair transplant specialist and I know I would have to waste at least $30,000.00 to get all my hair back. I am doing this to maintain my dying follicles. That is it!!

Waste of money, should have got a transplant, but please report back at regular intervals for our interest. Chances are though it won't do anything.

I would have gone for a transplant and then PRP later maybe to maintain hair. I had PRP to help get rid of dark circles (maybe side effect from minoxidil). It did help. Note takes several months to see any effect. Stay dehydrated and eat healthy. You're trying to boost your production of collagen etc.
