Default Am I going bald? Or mature hair line?

Hello everybody, just a couple quick questions. It's been playing on my mind a little lately. Is this signs of MPB or just a natural mature hairline? I'm 21 years old. My father still has a pretty solid head of hair at 57, my mother also.

And also if I am balding, where do I stand on the Norwood scale?

    Thanks in advance!

Very early norwood 2. No such thing as a "mature" hairline either, whether it is receeding at 71 or 21 it's MPB, however at 21 the results will be a lot worse down the track. Genetics are also confusing, there are plenty of cases where no one in the family is balding and yet you might be the lucky one (which clearly you are).

At least your hair is still thick and juicy, hit up finasteride 0.25mg, a laser treatment like the one below (cheapest and good quality), Nizoral 2% once per week and Pura D'or Gold shampoo, also a good vitamin supplement like the one below:

Then forget about it. You've lost so little you'll probably grow it back on all that. You could try minoxidil for definite regrowth but it's a pain in the ass and the hair becomes dependent.

That's a tough question. One temple seems higher than the other.

That said, your father has good genes.

Does your father have any hairline recession, even minor recession?

Androgen Alopecia is dominant in men. It's not on either the X or Y gene, however.

Worst case, you will probably NOT lose hair agressively, if at all.

Was your hairline always higher, before puberty? That's the question you need to ask
    yourself.

That makes absolutely no sense. There are plenty of people that bald despite it not being in the family history. Clearly he has recession at 21 and therefore has MPB. Forget about genetics, either you're balding or you're not. If you are, do something, if you're not don't.

Thanks for the detailed reply man. The hairline hasnt changed much in the last year, and my fathers has receeded a little but that's to be expected as he's almost 60. If there's anything else I should know throw it at me! I'm pretty clueless when it comes to all of this.
