Older you start balding the less aggressive ?

Is there any truth in this ? Opinion seems to differ. I read a post from a Dr on one forum saying the 'very bald man' has thinned quite dramatically by his mid 20s. Does that mean if you start balding in your late twenties /early thirties you won't have an aggressive mpb and will not be completely bald by 40? Thoughts ?

I believe there is a general consensus and it's undeniable that for practically anyone who starts experiences MPB in their teens to late twenties is going to have an overall aggressive case of balding. I think for most, the older one becomes and the more hair he continues to hold on to, the greater his chances are in maintaining that hair into the later stages of life. Each case becomes more difficult to predict the older one becomes unless there is an obvious pattern of diffused thinning or miniaturization. I did have one individual in my family that had a full head of hair until his late 50's, starting thinning and was a NW6 by mid 60's. Lucky for him he honestly didn't care and seemed to enjoy his new look.

In general yes but there are always exceptions.
