Is this balding?

As sad as it sounds I've been following this guys hairloss for a while now. Mainly because he's a budding musician and I feel that image is critical in the music business.

I've attached some images and want your opinion - do you think he's experiencing MPB?

Shot 1 is from when he is much younger and the remaining photos are more recent. Notice how much thinner the hair looks. Hairline also looks quite receded from what I can see. Any thoughts?

No doubt MPB. If he were wearing a more normal hairstyle it would be even more evident.
