Propecia to Generic- now to Proscar??

I was on Propecia for about a year and was happy with the results but the cost was kiiling me. I finnaly made the switch to generic Proscar and have been on it for two months approximately. I feel like i have thinned out over that time. I don't know if this is shed from switch or if it just isnt working as well. If a shed, then would it not grow back over time much like the Propecia shed? Thinking about switching to Proscar and ditching the generic, but at this point i'm afraid I would have another shed and put me back to what I looked like a year ago. Any thoughts on this someone??

used any other products? I am always curious about what people are doing and how well it works for them.

I started on rogaine a month prior to starting propecia. Using both almost at the same time it's hard to tell what product was most effective. I had fill in the front and the crown and front had a little fill in as well. As far as losing ground on fill in I feel that this has been confirmed that there has been some loss due to some coworkers noticing the thinning. Since no change in rogaine use I have to assume either this is some kind of seasonal shed or it's due to the change in meds. Had I not had a money squeeze lately, i would not have changed the regiment i was on.

Propecia is the best medicine for hair loss

Propecia is the best medicine for hair loss. It certainly has some side effects and these side effects disappears as our body accustoms to the medication.
I'm using Propecia for year and half. I too had side effects in the beginning and as my body got used to it slowly, most of the side effects disappeared.
After year and a half, today 80% of my receding hairline disappeared with negligible side effects.
