FUE Over harvest-How common?
This week I took a plane trip and while at the airport a guy sat down across from me at the gate who clearly had a HT. He had a very strong hairline made but the density behind it was not so great but overall it was not a bad result, especially when viewed from the front. I swung around behind him to see if it was FUT or FUE and he had been tremendously over harvested. His hair was about 3/4 of an inch long and you could see the exact shape of the area they had taken his grafts from, like a large rectangle. This was the worst example of overharvesting I have seen in real life and not just online. His hair on top was mature so I suspect he was over 1 year from his surgery.
So, this got me thinking-how often does FUE overharvesting happen in real life? Are there any statistics?

It would be impossible to gather accurate statistics but I've started seeing it in the wild more often, but still not much. The point however is that I'm seeing this instead of, or in addition to, visible strip scarring out in public. I haven't seen depleted FUE zones where I live but I have when traveling through airports. It is the new tell tale sign of having had a hair transplant and eventually it will become more common to see.

Oh the dreaded fue donor halo...
It's out there....ive seen it on a few folks too...
That extraction pattern with a rectangular shape etc....
Research wisely....and be careful.
Otherwise trying to get repaired or facing repairs is a major pain....
Good luck
