NEOGRAFT FUE Transplant--2 years after Treatment

    All--

Thought I would share my experience. I had the Neograft procedure done about two years ago in December 2014 (about 1000 grafts).

It is now December 2016 and I have 2 photos to show for your judgment (cannot find the other photos). I personally do not think it worked and am not happy with the results as the new hairs implanted are thinning out or falling out but that could be me obsessing over it. You be the judge.

I had been taking Finasteride 1.25 mg (Proscar 5 mg cut in 1/4) for the past 2 years.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you achieved optimal results. While 1,000 grafts is a relatively low number, I would expect to see more significant results than what you have.

Was your surgeon a IAHRS recommended surgeon? Have you expressed your concerns with him? If so, did he give a reason as to why he doesn't think you achieved the results you were hoping for?

Your best bet may be to start looking at other surgeons and doing a lot of research to find one that has a longstanding reputation of producing consistent, quality results.

I had 2200 and it's been about the same time and you can see it's worked (perhaps thanks to more follicles) but it's apparent I'm simply still losing hair.

So that's why I'm going for another surgery, not the Doc's fault. Nature is a b*tch.

Even with the daily regiment of Finasteride and 2200 grafts, you're still losing hair? Is it loss of the new transplanted hair? I have lost most of my transplanted hair for what reason I do not now--my transplant doctor (Dr. James Fernau) was not IAHRS certified.
