cowlick or balding?

21 years old. I recently had my hair cut down from being rather long (shoulder length, incredibly long bangs, etc) and noticed the top of my crown looking like it does in the image. I also took pictures of my temples for good measure. Am I balding or just being incredibly paranoid?
