Question for Fin and Niz users

This may seem a bit odd but was curious if anyone else has had a similar experience and what steps you took to resolve...

Been on fin for 6 months, and have been on Niz (regenepure dr) for over a year. When I first started Niz I was getting a horrible MPB itch. Since starting fin and Niz it has completely gone away. However, in the past month or so I've been getting a burning, sensitive to touch area on one side of my head. It's not as constant as the MPB itch was and I have noticed it's worse when I use the Niz. I"ve been trying to stay away from Niz to see if it's just a reaction but it's still coming and going.

I've tried to add moisturizing shampoo, and conditioner but it's still there. I think my hair is thinner on that side as well.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

    same thing happened with me
MPB itch was there before using fin but only in the affected areas

so i knew it was DHT and i started with fin.

UPSIDE -- that itch was gone
downside-- started having some minor sides( tho they are negligible)

also tried nizoral shampoo, i had a hellish experience with it. so stopped it after a few months.
niz burned my scalp like hell, the hair was like it was going to die ( no life in them)

so i guess that u r getting these burning sensation due to Niz.
and as these itches are coming and going i think u r recovering from Niz.

finasteride doesn't stop 100% dht(somewhere around 70%) so u may get some some itches due to dht left over and that is normal.
u can't stop Mpb. If finasteride stopped mpb, it wud have been a cure but its not. With time, Mpb will take down finasteride.
So, u r experiencing a normal thing, maybe it wud have been worse if u were not on fin.

upside with finasteride-- u r buying some more years for your hair.
downside- u may not see the benefits u r getting

if u have sides(like i do) then lower the dose, or take it every alternate day or every third day. U can experiment with the dosage for a few months and see what happens to your hair(remember more dosage doesn't mean it will lead to greater results)

In the meantime, researches are being done now to stop MPB or cure it, so hold onto your hair as long as possible. U can check out REPLICEL, HISTOGEN, FOLLICA, RIKEN etc etc.

    ALL THE BEST

My Dr. diagnosed me with Seborrhea. Gave me some drops and it went away pretty quickly.
