A question to all hairloss sufferers

suppose after 5 years, we got a cure for pattern baldness(i mean total cure, i know i am over-estimating) WILL U BE THE SAME PERSON AS BEFORE ????( i mean when you had hair back in your 20's or teenage)

Often, there were ppl who underestimated us and pointed out the fact we are balding in the most disgusting way leaving us embarrassed the whole day. Because of them and their comments we couldn't have peace in our mind, no matter how many times we regain our confidence thinking our personality matters to others not looks.

WILL YOU TREAT THESE FOLKS THE SAME WAY AS YOU DO WITH OTHERS?

Likely yes. People almost never mean to actually harm you. Sometimes they just can't tell that it hurts you. To you it seems obvious but to most of them they don't understand how you feel about.

heck of a reply thats optimistic but ppl unermine us.
we have to struggle a lot in our life to get what others get casually just because of a reason for which we are not responsible.

that what hurts and it can easily destroy us from inside.

and u didn't get the whole question WILL U BE THE SAME PERSON AS BEFORE?

well it taught us how to live life in the hard mode
so its not gonna be the same
we will deal every situation differently with more patience.
      PERSEVERANCE thats what i learnt.

I would be happy to have all my hair back, because I'll have that 'complete' sense of satisfaction once again. I personally do not fixate too much of what others think about hair loss because the vast majority of people are quite uneducated about this disorder.

They may be uneducated on the matter, but their minds are made up, and we're %#^$@ because of it. You going to convince a beautiful 18 year old to sleep with you as a balding 22 year old? I cherish the fact that I experienced their wetness and tightness before I visibly receeded.

I'd treat those people differently, cure or no cure.

So true, my friend. Most people just DON'T get it. Glad to see you do.

Well, if I had a choice between a cure for my diabetes, or my baldness, I would choose having my diabetes cured.

The amount of $$$ wasted, every year on research, drugs, rugs and plugs is mind-boggling.

Men go bald.... and even some women. It's natural, it's human.

"Worried that if there is a CURE, will you look the same person as before". SERIOUSLY!!!!

Sure, losing your hair, can be hard. Western society SHOVES men with great bodies and great hair in your faces every day. What is funny is that MOST guys you see will spend THOUSANDS a year on a rug... but never drop the doughnut or hit a gym.
