    Telogen Effluvium or Androgenetic Alopecia?

    Hello everyone ;
I am 21 years old male .i am experiencing huge hair loss from about 16 to 20 months.
it falls about 150 to 200 hairs or even more .
The thing that i have a stress before that period 16 months .
One strange thing also that at first 4 months it was really excessive hair loss after that it slows a little then after 10 months right now this month it starts to fall as the first time excessive .
The hair line is little bit receded not too much .
My dad has full hair no receded line
My grandfather from mom side also as my dad full hair .
The hair is thining and its color is not as before .

Also i had an eyebrows loss at 10 a day
The thing that all my hair loss was having like a periods of excessive loss and then slows down then excessive

It is diffused and all of my head falls but from front is the most

The stress was a shock and i was having a neck pain because of sitting too much time front of laptop

Dont know if it was Telogen Effluvium ???

Any help please ...Click image for larger version

What country are you living in? Hairloss can be seasonal, I shed a lot more from September to November...

Actually i've consult one .but he told me it is normal
            I just want to know
How much Telogen Effluvium does it take to recover the chrinic one ?
And can Telogen Effluvium cause mpb as a result ?

It could be from a stressful event. Hair loss from stress can happen months from
              the stressful event.

If that's the case, you probably can grow it all back, once the stress goes away.

Your hair looks to be in good shape. And it sounds like you have good genes.

However, androgen alopecia is dominant in males. So if your mother carries
genes for it, you will have those.

Worst case, you will lose hair, but not as quick as someone who has full baldness
              in their family.

Hair loss can happen in varying degrees, depending on our genes.

No, that one gene on chromosome X is only a part of the puzzle, other genes on chromosome 20 are also at play. MPB is not passed solely from the mother, this is a myth and looking at fathers and sons clearly corroborates that.

You can get genes for dominant androgen alopecia from either parent. And androgen alopecia is dominant.

Never said it came from the X chromosone.

It's true. If your mother has genes she carries for androgen alopecia, and you inherit those
genes, even if your father is a full head, you will go bald.

Please clarify what your issue is with that statement?

You said from your mother not both parents, the only gene a male gets only from the mother is X so no need to specify it. If the gene was dominant your mother would be bald as well if this gene was the only one involved and dominant. you said it again just now..."It's true. If your mother has genes she carries for androgen alopecia, and you inherit those
genes, even if your father is a full head, you will go bald."

This is a myth, bad science with incomplete information.
You clearly don't understand genetics. You will not win an argument on this subject.
