Default Not sure if balding or maturing hairline

Hi guys, I am 19 and have quite thin hair naturally, recently i have noticed my temples receding for the past year, and I am worried that it is because my journey for baldness is beginning. Not sure if paranoid or realistic. See pictures for evaluation. Thanks in advance

It is starting to recede. Minoxidil works well on the hairline, when the hair first starts falling out.

If you start using Minoxidil now, you can probably regrow all of it back.

Finasteride alone is more permanent, and will grow it back. It would at least allow you to have your hair for a long time, without worrying about baldness. It's better than Minoxidil, but might have side effects. In my own opinion, I believe five percent of men have Finasteride side effects.

When I was 20, I used two percent Minoxidil (doctor prescribed at the time) on my hairline. Everything grew back.

Personally I think you should start using regular Minoxidil foam. It won't cause dandruff.

But expect to see initial (one time) shedding if you use Minoxidil. That's normal. It's a one time thing, that will eventually go away.

    Best of luck.

Just wanted to let you know, it's normal to have one side recede more than the other.

My right side has more receding than my left.

Balding and maturing hairline are the same thing...You can't know when or if it will stop.

If he does something about it now, he can stop the recession.

If he waits until it's too late, he won't be able to stop it.

He can get Minoxidil anywhere he wants. And he can accept it as well, that's
    Squatch's choice.

Not sure why someone is criticizing me for saying that.
