Betadine after hair transplant

My doctor's post-op instructions have me using Betadine on the recipient area. I will follow them, but I am concerned after reading on the internet that Betadine might kill HT grafts as it is cytotoxic? Am I being paranoid?

I see this post was spammed recently and which is why it was brought to my attention to her however, I see a lot of time has passed so I was wondering how you made out. I was going to ask why your doctor suggested that you use this. Although perhaps it was to assist with postoperative redness? Did it help you? I can’t imagine your doctor will prescribe something that would hurt the grafts, but i’m sure the community would like to know how your results turned out.
