thinning hair, would you start with finasteride?

I am 19 years old now. turning 20 in March 2017.
Since March 2016 I've noticed my hairline receding and started Minoxidil then. Until now it didn't do much to help.
Lately my hair is a lot thinner than normally. And one week ago i got a 15mm haircut. If the light hits my head correctly or when my hair is wet it is possible to see through my hair pretty easy. Would you guys start taking finasteride?
