    Default Bandanna

So prior to my HT I was practicing putting the clinic bandanna on my head. In every case the fabric touches the scalp, which I thought might not be ideal. On the other hand it is the default way...is the contact typically ok?

Is it ok to just not wear a bandanna at the airport? I won't be going outside anyways.

I don't think you should have anything directly touching the recipient area for the days immediately following surgery. Your best option is a snapback hat that you can adjust to fit loosely on your head and is high enough so that the hat doesn't hit the grafts. The first 3 days are the most crucial for avoiding contact, fyi.

You can use the bandana they give you or a very loose fitting baseball hat. The truth is, at a big airport nobody will give a crap about what you look like.
