Help me with my hairloss, I just turned 20.

Hello, forum. So here's my story.

My hairline started receding at around 14-15. At age 17-18, my high hairline and thin temples were noticeable, although I didn't put much attention into it. Now, at 20, I have gotten really self conscious about it since my hairline has moved it's way up quite a bit.

I went to a dermatologist but to be honest I felt like he really didn't know what to say/prescribe. He said that my hairline had reached its "mature point" and it wouldn't recede much more until I got older (I call bs). He told me to apply clobetasol to my hairline/thin spots and shower with "Kerium" shampoo; that this would make my hair thicker and my hairline stop receding. I haven't followed this treatment until I get a second opinion.

Crown area. I don't know if this is just a cowlick. Although, my hair HAS thinned since July quite a bit (my hair used to be very thick):

(Bonus) This is how I "style" my hair. Gotta do everything to not look bald, right? :

Any treatments I should quickly hop on before it gets worse? I've read about propecia and its side effects and I honestly don't care. I much prefer keeping my hair (lol).

This has had a big impact on my life. In public, I'm always trying to keep my hair combed so it doesn't reveal my hairline. Every time I go to the bathroom, I check my crown area in the mirror. I'm always comparing myself to other men and their hairlines, too. I already started looking into hair transplants and have been saving up as well.

So how bad do I have it? I'd consider myself to be at a NW2 at the moment.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
