PATIENT'S BACKGROUND
- Age & Ethnicity: 27 y.o., Caucasian
- NW: III
- Medicament: Minoxidil 5% once per day; Finasteride 1g until the procedure
- Donor area density: 90 FUs/cm2 in the occipital and temporal regions
- Donor capacity: ~6500 FUs
- Recipient area surface: ~33 cm2
- Donor area scar surface (previous FUT surgery in another clinic): 18 cm x 0.5 cm
RECOMMENDED PLAN & TREATMENT
2100 - 2600 FUs procedure with FUE technique in order to restore the hairline and temples, while adding density around the existing plugs.
Among these, 200 - 300 FUs will be used to repair the scar in the donor area, originated from a previous FUT surgery.
SURGERY TECHNICAL DATA
2472 FUs extracted by Manual Punch, diameter 0.9mm. Incisions realized with Lateral Slit technique.
Among these, 316 FUs have been used to repair the scar in the donor area.
