Default Help me!! Cowlick or thinning hair???

Ok I have always had a cowlick apparently but I noticed it at age 18. I'm 20 now. I notice no hairs falling out in the shower none on my pillow none come out in my comb; my family has no history of hair loss. My grandpa on my moms side is 74 with a fill head of hair just a bit thin my dad is in his 70s as well, he lost his hair in his late 60s but he's not completely bald. When I run my hands through my hair it feels full I don't feel any thin or bald spots. When I was 18 I asked my hairdresser they said it's a cowlick I asked my hairdresser a month ago she said it's a whorl my friends say it's just where my hair grows from my dad says it's a part he said he had the same thing. I'm so stressed because of it.
