Canadians - Help Please!!! Desperate!

Hi all,

I have just moved to the UK and my finasteride supplies are depleting. I naively thought I would be able to source some here without too much trouble but it is quickly becoming an absolute nuisance with little reliable information on the seemingly endless online pharmacies that are around.

A couple of questions if anyone can help;

Is it relatively straight forward to get a doctor to proscribe the meds?
Can this be done at a pharmacy?
Any idea on best (cheapest) places to buy - I have read about Costco and the like in the US being incredibly cheap!

Any other advice greatly appreciated.

Side note: I have been using finasteride for around 18 months and I am happy with were my hair is at. I think it has continued to thin on one side of my forehead but not the other - anyone else had this?\

That recession pattern is so common. I have that issue to. My hairline on my right is a Norwood three+. My left is less than an inch (2.5 cm??) on the other side.

Once I did a poll on another forum. This is generally the norm (uneven recession), believe it or not.
